Sandblast Services in Perth
Looking for a reliable sandblasting industrial painting contractor?
Benefits of Sandblasting
Here at Blast Pro, our Perth customers sometimes ask what the benefits of our sandblasting service are. Why should they spend their time and money to sandblast equipment that will just get worn and dirtied again? The answer is actually more complex than you might think.
Appearance Improvement
The first and most obvious benefit of sandblasting is that this service will greatly improve the appearance of your equipment and machinery. Over time, your industrial equipment will begin to look grimy, unclean and possibly even dangerous. Your clients’ impression of your business depends on this equipment, so an unfit appearance could cost you customers and money.
Additionally, unclean machines can indeed be unsafe. Loose paint, hardened dirt and other build-up can become sharp or otherwise hazardous. Yet, to remove these abrasions, you’ll need more than a sponge and a little water. Sand blasting can return your equipment to its clean state and allow you to safely use or repaint your tools.
Functionality Restoration
In particularly bad circumstances, your equipment may become so unclean or grimy that it doesn’t function as well as it is supposed to. Large amounts of build-up or similar factors can be particularly detrimental to certain tools. Likewise, some materials will wear faster if they are exposed for an extended period to foreign elements.
To maintain your equipment efficiently, it is wise to remove any contaminating residue using sandblasting and then repaint necessary areas. This process will improve the usefulness of your investments, as well as make these tools and structures last longer against corrosion.

Our Materials
- Cost-effectiveness—Garnet grains have a natural hardness which allows our team to use them effectively at maximum production rates (about m2/hr) without raising the abrasive consumption rate above about kg/m2. This ratio of production to consumption keeps project costs low compared to the use of other abrasives.
- Recyclability—While most abrasive materials can withstand a few uses, garnet has more recyclability overall. Generally, we can use the same garnet grains between 5 and 10 times without reducing the quality of our sandblasting work.
- Safety—Garnet represents one of the safest abrasives currently on the market. Not only is garnet environmentally inert, making it an eco-friendly option, but GMA Garnet™ also meets all the standards for silica- and chloride-free content.
